Geopro Matrix

Simply put, Geopro Matrix® offers the best in hydraulic mulch performance.

Our blend incorporates very long and strong organic fibers at a 10% ratio - the reinforcing component of this composite. The surface texture and frayed geometry of these fibers bond tightly with the Silt Stop binder. And our product leaves no synthetic residue.

Silt Stop 745 binder simply outperforms any and all binders and tackifiers currently available. It produces very strong bonds among the Matrix components and between the components and the soil surface. It works immediately - no cure time is needed - producing mulch security upon spray-down. It lasts, typically, 2-4 months to secure seed, fertilizer and mulch throughout the germination stage and through many wetting cycles. It chelates phosphates, making this critical nutrient available for root growth when needed most - immediately after germination and during the early plant establishment stage. And because the phosphates are bonded in both the particulate and dissolved forms, nutrient entrance into adjacent waters is all but prevented. Finally, Silt Stop 745 makes the slurry ‘very slippery', creating better mixing and shooting characteristics. The unique combination of our organic reinforcing fiber and Silt Stop 745 separates Geopro Matrix from all other hydraulic mulches and matrixes in performance, ease of use and resulting vegetation establishment.

     
 

The remaining 70/30 fiber blend of long, premium softwood fibers and recycled paper is performance proven - on the ground as well as in the equipment.

As a composite system, Geopro Matrix loads and mixes well, shoots evenly with a minimum of ground roll, and simply provides outstanding results: minimum erosion and optimum plant establishment.

   

Finally, Geopro Matrix can be added to other Geopro hydraulic mulches to improve their performance.
