Proper anchoring of Tough Guy turbidity barriers is important not only for performance, but also to ensure barrier longevity. All projects that deploy barriers where currents, waves, wind or boat wakes are present need proper anchoring accessories.

A typical anchoring system is shown in the sketch. Where winds or currents change routinely, or if navigation channel widths mandate, consideration of anchor system placement on both barrier sides is warranted. If near navigable water, lights and horns may be required.
